Hi all POCO fans, I have exciting news for all the POCO F7 Ultra fans out there! Xiaomi has started the rollout of the stable OS update for HyperOS 3. It will be a partial rollout. Details about the update include the build number 3.0.3.0.WOMMIXM, with an enormous size of approximately 7.7GB. It’s a result of a partial rollout to ensure a smooth experience with minimal problems.
POCO F7 Ultra HyperOS 3 Update

The POCO F7 Ultra, equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and featuring a sensational camera design, is receiving this update, which comes on Android 16. It was first introduced for Europeans a couple of months ago, and now it’s reaching other users as well. You can avail of this if your device’s name concludes “MI.”
To verify if it’s available in their area, they need to look at: Settings > About phone > System updates and click refresh. This might not roll out immediately because it’s a roll-out and might take days or even weeks to roll out. They should definitely use Wi-Fi for that large file and make sure they have a full battery charge.
Make sure to backup everything first, just in case. There have been comments from early adopters that the phone is noticeably faster.
HyperOS 3 Update Features
It’s a major refresh, and it just feels like everything is more modern and fluid. It’s got smoother animations, a redesigned control center, and just brand-new icons throughout. It’s got this awesome feature called HyperIsland, which is just like the dynamic notification card area around the camera cutout, similar to what’s in the iPhone, but it’s just the Xiaomi spin.
It’s a huge AI acceleration: better photo editing, enhanced voice functionality, and generative content for wallpaper or images. It will bring better power management and greater privacy control over apps.
Cross-device connectivity is even better, particularly if you have other Xiaomi devices in your possession. There is more flexibility when it comes to customizing the lock screen, and overall performance seems even snappier on that flagship hardware.
A few people have mentioned that there are some changes to the camera application with added features, and gaming performance is going to be even smoother. Unfortunately, it is not a completely revamped system, but those minor tweaks are an added bonus to usability. If you’ve installed it already, how is it treating you? The fast battery life? The new looks? Let us hear about it in the comments! The new launch keeps the F7 Ultra in the spotlight well into 2026.
